Music
We regard music as a sincere offering of devotion to honor and glorify God. Whether emanating from the choir stalls, the organ, the pews, or the altar, music embodies our worship. We believe that active participation in spoken and sung worship possesses the potential to nourish and transform individuals, equipping them to engage in God’s work of reconciliation in the world. Explore our various offerings and upcoming events below!
The All Saints ChoirThe All Saints choral program has long been recognized as one of the finest in the Boston area. Its repertoire embraces our Anglican roots while actively promoting those composers often marginalized due to their gender or race. With a membership of some thirty singers, the All Saints Choir consists of experienced volunteers augmented by a core of seven professional singers. The choir sings for Sunday Eucharists, Evensongs, Complines, Holy Days, and occasional concerts from September through Trinity Sunday. Participation in the choral program at All Saints fosters the formation and sustenance of strong interpersonal connections among choristers.
Contact Dr. Stephan Griffin for further information or to schedule an audition.
Choral ComplineA peaceful night and a perfect end
Offered as our final prayer before sleep, we gather in the candlelit sanctuary for a half hour of chanted psalms, prayers, and anthems, sung by the choir on our behalf. As the service concludes, the choir withdraws, inviting you to embrace a few moments of profound silence finding comfort in God’s presence.
Join us on the first Sunday of the month at 7pm from September to June.
Choral EvensongThy praise shall sanctify our rest
One of the gems of the Anglican tradition, Evensong is the sung form of Evening Prayer. At its core, this forty-five minute service of music, scripture, and prayer is offered in thanksgiving for the day that is past and as a prayer for peace through the coming night. Each season, our Evensongs commemorate specific saints and feast days, honoring their legacy through worship, prayer, and music.

Prayer Requests
If you would like to request a prayer, please add a name to the parish’s prayer list.
Every request goes to our clergy and to the Daughters of the King, who keep those named in prayer throughout the week. Requests are confidential unless you tell us otherwise. If you would like a name shared with the wider parish, we will include it in the weekly bulletin so others can pray alongside you. Names stay on the list for 30 days unless you ask us to keep them longer.
You’re also welcome to light a votive candle at either station in the church for someone you’re praying for, or for something you can’t quite put into words.
Life Events and Other Services-
Baptism is how a person becomes part of the Church and is the beginning of a life of faith as a Christian.
We baptize people of any age, from infants to adults. Baptisms happen during a regular Sunday service, surrounded by the community you’re joining.
The Book of Common Prayer sets aside a handful of especially fitting days for baptism: Easter Vigil, the Day of Pentecost, All Saints’ Day (or the Sunday after), and the Baptism of Our Lord in early January, as well as any Sunday a bishop is with us.
We reserve baptisms for these occasions when we can though other Sundays can be arranged with the rector.
Baptism is worth preparing for, so anyone seeking it—for themselves or for their child—spends some time beforehand with our clergy talking through what it means. We ask for at least one month's notice ahead of a baptism date, except in a genuine emergency.
If you or someone you love would like to be baptized, we’d love to talk! Reach out to office@allsaintsbrookline.org to start the conversation.

A wedding at All Saints is a public covenant—a promise two people make to each other—made in the presence of God, and witnessed and blessed by the community around them.
To be married in any Episcopal church, at least one person needs to be a baptized Christian, and the marriage has to meet both the laws of the Commonwealth and the canons of the Episcopal Church—including two witnesses at the ceremony. LGBTQ+ couples are joyfully welcomed to be married at All Saints.
Pre-wedding meetings with the clergy are required for all couples.
We recommend reaching out to our clergy at least six months ahead of your planned date for a wedding.

When we have loved deeply and been deeply loved, grief can feel overwhelming, and faith doesn’t ask us to pretend otherwise. Our hope is that All Saints can be a place of comfort for you and your family.
As Christians, we trust that Christ has overcome death, and that the last chapter of a life opens onto something larger than we can see.
One does not have to be a member of All Saints Parish to have one’s funeral at All Saints.
If you’ve lost someone, or you’re preparing for what’s ahead, please email office@allsaintsbrookline.org.
For more information, including costs, you can download our Guidelines for Funeral and Memorial Services.
