The Welcome and Inclusion Committee works to support All Saints by spreading the good word of our church and making sure that anyone who enters the church’s buildings feels welcomed. We follow a framework of Invite – Welcome – Connect, to intentionally and continuously build a community of belonging.
Ushers and greeters warmly welcome parishioners and visitors, provide bulletins, take up the offerings, provide guidance during the eucharist, take attendance, answer questions, and generally help to ensure the smooth running of Sunday morning services and other special services.
The Welcome team hosts an annual Newcomer Breakfast, and we hold regular meetings to strategize about ways we can continuously improve connections – within the All Saints parishioner family, with others who use our building, and with the broader community.
The committee sees Welcome as central to the continuing growth and vitality of our church. We are thankful for everyone who assists in these efforts and strongly encourage anyone interested to join us.
