Jennifer Giannini and her husband Matthew Burfeind have been members of All Saints Parish since February 2007. Jennifer and Matthew live in West Roxbury and have two children..
Jennifer grew up in the Los Angeles area and attended Panorama Presbyterian Church her entire young life. As a “church kid,” she learned that church was a place of family, love, and work to make the world a better place.
Jennifer moved to Boston in 1994 to attend Simmons College and study for her Masters of Library and Information Science. At Simmons, she met Matthew, another church kid who had grown up in the Episcopal church in Hartford, Connecticut. Jennifer and Mattthew moved to Brookline in 1996 and began attending All Saints when they needed a church fix. They fell in love with All Saints because of the parish’s liturgical and music ministry, the architectural beauty of building, and warm, welcoming congregation. In 2007, they became members when their oldest was four because they wanted their children to be raised with the same foundations in faith and church community that they had experienced. Since that time, Jennifer has been involved in Family Ministry, served on Vestry, has been on the Welcome Committee, and has been Assistant Treasurer since 2023. When not at All Saints, Jennifer works in Financial Services and enjoys cooking, gardening, and going on long walks with her black Labrador Callie.
Jennifer is looking forward to serving as All Saints Parish incoming Treasurer. She believes that a strong financial foundation is integral to furthering All Saints’ ability to support its ministries and be a welcoming spiritual home to all that enter the sanctuary’s doors.
