First Sunday of the Month – 7 pm
As the evening settles in and the day’s work is put away, we invite you to leave behind the past, set aside anxieties about the future, and rest in the present. Welcome to Night Prayer, also known as Compline.
Traditionally sung by monks before sleep, Compline offers a half-hour of reflection and meditation—a sanctuary where you can immerse yourself in the tranquility of chanted prayers and anthems, finding solace amid the cacophony of modern life. Surrounded by the soft glow of candles and the gentle scent of incense, Compline marks a moment of closure for the day, allowing for personal introspection, seeking forgiveness, and finding comfort in God’s presence before restful sleep.
As the service concludes, the choir withdraws silently, inviting you to embrace a few moments of profound silence.
