Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I find the video of the service?
If you are looking on the website, you’ll need to look no further than the Home Page.
You can look at the top, in the BLUE MENU BAR:
Or towards the bottom of the page, under the Featured Events Area:
If you are looking on Facebook, look in these places:
A note about Facebook from Ruby: Facebook will show you this post until the video starts, at which point this post is converted into an entirely new video post. You will get a NOTIFICATION (the BELL in the top right corner of your Facebook screen) that “All Saints Parish is LIVE NOW” and if you click on that notification, you should be redirected to that new video post. This post is also updated on the website. We also try to share the video in the All Saints Parish Story – which is this area of your Facebook feed:
When does service start?
10:30 AM ET. We generally start the video a few minutes early, but the Voluntary will always start at or around 10:30
Is everyone being safe?
We continue to follow the COVID-19 safety protocols of the Diocese of Massachusetts, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Town of Brookline. Everyone involved in the Livestream service observes physical distancing and is masked when not on camera.
Where can I find the Bulletin and the Parish Notes?
Those are always going to be linked HERE.
How do I participate?
First, while everyone is getting onto the video and while the AV crew puts the final touches on things, take a moment to like, comment, and share the video service. Then, either read along with the bulletin or follow the links that will be posted in the comments. We walk you through each part of the service so that it’s easy for you! If you have time after service, please join us for Zoom Social Hour and any family activities or communion services (please note that pre-registration is required for ALL in-person activities, you can do so HERE) that you’re able to attend. Our monthly Courageous Conversations takes place on 8 November starting at 11:30 am (right after the 10:30 Livestream).
What do I do if I’m having trouble?
If you are having any technical issues or cannot see/hear the service, please reach out to Ruby – our webmaster. She is available during the service as well as about 30 minutes before and after for questions and issues that may arise. You’ll get a quick response by email or Facebook Message.
