I have always been a collector of rocks and stones- Patrick can attest to that! Our house is filled with them. Usually when i think of stones, old stone walls come to mind. Moss covered stones stuck together by farmers many years ago. Our church is like an old stone wall. A living stone wall. Each part of this church that i love is a living stone. The music that soars to the rafters and makes me shivery. The people who worship with us each week, sitting close and smiling in welcome. The stained glass windows that give off this magical, spiritual glow. The gardens that bloom during every season. And Richard, he is the living, loving stone that holds us all together. His sermons challenge us and make is think and wonder and laugh and cry. These are the reasons that we pledge at All Saints. And even though we move farther and farther away, we are still drawn to this community. And every week when we walk in the door we feel like we are home and all shall be well in the world.
