Michael is a Candidate for Holy Orders in the Diocese of Massachusetts and a seminary student in the distance-learning part-time Master of Divinity program at Bexley Seabury Seminary Federation in Chicago, Illinois. A native of the Bronx in New York City, Michael initially came to the Boston area for college and has remained ever since. He has been active in parish leadership at his sending parish, Trinity Episcopal Church in Melrose, MA, in several capacities, including as a Lay Eucharistic Minister, Worship Leader, Warden, and Vestry Clerk. Michael has also served as a chaplain intern with the Outdoor Church of Cambridge.
In addition to being a seminary student and candidate for ordination to the priesthood, Michael is also a partner and business litigation attorney at a Boston-based law firm. Michael feels called to bi-vocational ministry and intends to continue in his secular vocation as an attorney after he completes his seminary studies and (God willing and the people consenting) he is ordained.
Outside of law and seminary studies, Michael enjoys reading, music, going for walks, cooking and baking, and spending time with his husband, Patrick, and their two cats, Aidan and Tynan.
