Jesus often went off by himself to pray, and encouraged his followers to do the same. Many activities at All Saints have both group and solo components. For example: book discussions emphasize the benefits and challenges of groups, but there’s nothing wrong with simply reading the book on your own; joining the Altar Guild, or volunteering in the garden will have some group components, but also plenty of quiet, focused solitary work; serving casseroles at the cathedral with the MANNA community is ideal for group oriented, active types, making a casserole at home to be delivered to MANNA may be better for people wanting a more solitary, contemplative experience.
Depending on how you approach them, most activities at All Saints will appeal to multiple spiritualities. The icons on each activity can serve as guides. Learn about the types of spiritualities.
