EPISCOPAL MIGRATION MINISTRIES

Outreach Committee Responds to Refugee Crisis on Martha’s Vineyard
Migrants sent to Martha's Vineyard are being rehoused on a base in Cape Cod : NPRThe sudden, unannounced transport of 48 migrants to the island triggered an outpouring of support from St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Martha’s Vineyard and others far and wide. The event focused a bright light on the need for compassionate care of migrants put in untenable situations. The All Saints Outreach Committee, as a reflection of our values and in keeping with our priorities, felt called to act. The committee is making a $1,000.00 donation from the Reserve Fund to further the work of Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM),  an organization that has done longstanding work across a number of states in refugee resettlement ministry. You can find out more about this ministry at episcopalmigrationministries.org.  Donations to EMM would be welcomed.
