COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS

We live in a mobile world and often habitually greet new people we meet with, “Where are you from?” But this is a harder topic for people who have fled homes to escape difficult circumstances. Their journeys create critical challenges including just coping with basic needs. Families who are responsible for the most vulnerable, young children, face a particular struggle.
Have you thought about exile, both in the context of the resettling migrants we have worked to host and assist this year and, more figuratively, have you ever felt like an exile yourself?
