Chalking the door is a tangible way to honor God in our lives. This short liturgy, done at any time during the season of Epiphany, is a way of marking (with chalk) our homes, usually at the front or main entrance, with sacred signs and symbols as we ask God’s blessing upon those who live, work, or visit throughout the coming year. You can watch Richard and Tammy chalk the doors of All Saints below.
If you would like to receive a piece of blessed chalk and prayers for this ritual, please sign up here. Chalk will be available for those who sign up. You may collect it at All Saints or, for those who live further away, it can be mailed to your home. Prayers are available here.
