FOOD FOR OUR NEIGHBORS
All Saints Parish has been supporting the Brookline Food Pantry for over 25 years. We have donation receptacles in the parish house where people bring food items, which are then delivered to the food pantry. The youth of our parish also participate in special activities such as making pies at Thanksgiving. All Saints parishioner Brad MacDonald currently manages this ministry.
The Food Pantry continues to need our help. Since the Covid-19 pandemic began, the number of clients seeking emergency food assistance has quadrupled. As demands increase, even a small monetary donation can make a difference. Please consider supporting the Brookline Food Pantry, and doing it regularly.
When you give to the Brookline Food Pantry, you help to ensure that nobody in our community goes to bed hungry. Here is how our donations can make a difference:
- Your monetary donations allow the Food Pantry to purchase needed food at the Greater Boston Food Bank at a significantly reduced rate, helping to stretch their funds.
- Your dollars help when a freezer or refrigerator needs immediate repairs.
- Your generosity helps to purchase or rent vehicles for food pick up at participating grocery stores and at the Greater Boston Food Bank, as well as for delivery to home-bound residents in need.
