FOOD FOR OUR NEIGHBORS
The Food Pantry continues to need our help. Volunteers are always needed. In addition to the obvious tasks of sorting, stocking, and delivering food, help with grant writing, special events planning/support, and administration (mailing, filing) is greatly appreciated. Also, the Pantry always needs and accepts paper bags with handles. Please consider donating such bags. Finally, given the increased food insecurity created by the coronavirus pandemic—the Pantry’s caseload is four times higher than pre-COVID, monetary donations are needed and most welcome. Contribute here.
The Brookline Food Pantry distributes over $130,000 in food each year to Brookline residents. Half of the food is provided by private donations – people like us who can bring nonperishable food items when we come to worship at All Saints. The youth of our parish also participate in special activities such as making pies at Thanksgiving. You can participate by bringing a donation to All Saints, volunteering to drop off items at the pantry once a month, or making a monetary contribution.
How to get involved:
- Bring food donations to All Saints Parish
- Volunteering to deliver food to the pantry — At the moment they are in need of more volunteers, please get more information HERE
- Make a monetary contribution
