The 11th Anual Spirituality & Justice Award at All Saints Parish
On April 27, 2008, All Saints Parish presented the 11th Annual Spirituality and Justice Award
to Dr. Paul Farmer, medical anthropologist and physician and a founding director
of Partners in Health, an international organization that provides
direct health care services for those living in poverty.
The Award was presented in recognition of his deep spiritual faith
which is manifested in his internationally recognized work
providing quality medical care to the poor in

On January 12, 2008, the Rev. Dr. Christian Brocato of All Saints Parish was received as a priest in the diocese at Trinity Church, Copley Square. In June 2007, a team of 7 young people and 4 adults from the parish traveled to Quezalguaque, Nicaragua - Brookline's Sister City. While there, they helped refurbish the backyard of the town's public library. This trip was the first time people from All Saints Parish had traveled internationally to engage in mission ministry.
The Rev. David Killian presents the 10th Spirituality and Justice Award to Dr. Peter Stringham at the 10:30 a.m. worship service on June 3, 2007. The award is presented in recognition of Dr. Stringham's deep spiritual faith which is manifested in his nationally-recognized work to help teenagers learn skills to prevent violent and destructive behaviors.
Previous award recipients were: Bishop Barbara C. Harris (1998), Bishop Simon E. Chiwanga (1999), Bishop M. Thomas Shaw (2000), Bishop Steven Charleston (2001), Archbishop Desmond M. Tutu (2002), Dr. Yang Jianli and Christina Fu (2003), the Rev. Dr. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas (2004), the Rt. Rev. Gene Robinson (2005), and the Honorable Byron Rushing (2006).
All Saints volunteers cooked and served a nutritious meal to over 120 homeless men and women at St. John the Evangelist church, 35 Bowdoin Street, Boston. May 17, 2007
