LEARNING TO LOVE WITH JULIAN OF NORWICH, a retreat led by the Rev. Dr. Mark Burrows and Ellen Oak., Sunday, May 1, 1:30-6:00 pm, The Meetinghouse, Andover Newton Theological School. This retreat will explore the various dimensions of the theology and spirituality of Julian's writings, emphasizing the continuing vitality of her thought for contemporary life. Cost: $25; $10 for seniors, students, and unemployed. Free to Andover Newton community. Pre-registration requested by April 27.

WOMEN OF WISDOM, facilitated by Nancy Corcoran, Thursdays, 9:30 am-1:30 pm, May 5 and 19. All meetings include a delicious lunch. Fee: $12 per session. Please call in advance - 617-277-0036 - if you are new to the group

CHINESE GUNGFU STYLE TEA CEREMONY: CREATING PEACE AND HARMONY, led by Patricia Warren, Thursday, May 12, 7:00-8:30 pm. Fee: $25. Payment requested at least two days before the ceremony. Ceremony is limited to eight people; it will be offered on two different dates to accommodate more participants.

CELTIC SPIRITUALITY
MINI-RETREATS

Saturdays, 3:00-4:30 pm

April 30 - Mary as an Inspiration for Celtic Spirituality. Mary was the inspiration of Celtic saints and scholars through the centuries. We invite participants to bring a favorite picture, icon, statue, poem, song, or hymn that speaks to them of Mary's spirit. Led by The Rev. Leslie K. Sterling, Assistant Rector and Celtic Liturgical Coordinator and Cantor.

June 11 - St. Columba and the Spirituality of Iona. Led by Charles Wibiralske, Associate Director of Episcopal City Mission.

All Saints Parish is a center of Celtic Christian spirituality. Courses, workshops, and study groups meet regularly to deepen spiritual understanding and practice and to maintain a connection with Celtic holy places. The Holy Eucharist, integrating Celtic, Anglican, Catholic, and Protestant elements, is celebrated twice each week, Saturdays at 5:00 pm and Wednesdays at 6:15 pm.

SPIRITUALITY AND HEALING: INTERFAITH PERSPECTIVES ON MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT. Herbert Benson, MD, Keynote Speaker. Friday, May 20, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. The Spirituality and Healing Conference will address the role of meditation, prayer, and other forms of spiritual practice as ways of promoting healing, health and well being in body, mind, and spirit. Keynote speaker Herbert Benson, MD, is a pioneer in behavioral medicine and mind/body studies, as well as spirituality and healing. Please see the RUAH website for additional workshop information. Fee: $95; $75 if full fee is received by May 6; $65 for seniors and full-time students; $20 discount on all fees for members of RUAH. Non-refundable registration fee of $25 is due by May 16.
