Jianliís wife, Christina Fu and son, Aaron, were recently permitted less than a one-hour visit with him at the prison in Beijing. Christina confirmed the worries that other relatives had reported with regard to his health. This has reinforced U.S. lawmakersí attempts to advocate more insistently for his medical parole. Still, Christina believes that his faith and spirit remain strong and that he has very much welcomed postcards people have sent him (although he is still not permitted to send return mail to the United States). Christina asked me to express her thanks to all who have taken the time to write postcards to him. You should feel free to send a card again even if you have already done so. We will continue to have addressed/stamped postcards on the Welcome Table thanks to some generous parishioners. Please take one and write a message to Jianli. Then, place it in the basket on the table and it will be mailed promptly. Thank you for taking part in this important outreach. Jianliís address is Beijing City Chao Yang District, P.O. Box 2357- 15, Beijing, Postcode 100023, P.R. China. Postage to China is 70 cents for postcards. - Susan Cleaver Liver Donor Needed for The Reverend Bob Massie.
