JOURNEYS IN FAITH 2010

Mondays at 7:00 pm, January 25 – March 29

Being a Christian, in fact being a religious person at all, is not easy in our present society. All of us are pulled in many directions. The Episcopal Church does not offer any final or absolute answers to the conflicts in ourselves or in our society. It does however, affirm that as a community grounded in prayer and worship, we are seeking to know God's will and, by the grace of God, to do God's will in all areas of human concern that are the responsibility of those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Please join us for this Journey in Faith as we discuss what it means to be a Christian in the Episcopal tradition.

This course is an excellent preparation for adult baptism, confirmation, reception into the Episcopal Church and reaffirmation of faith. No admission fee.

All are welcome. Please call 617-738-1810, ext 105 or contact David Killian at rectord@allsaintsbrookline.org for more information.

Welcome to All Saints Parish in Brookline

Behold I make all things newWe are a community of people called together by Christ to a shared life and mission. Our parish is first of all a spiritual center, a place where people can find God, be nourished in their spiritual journey, and grow in their life of faith.

We are an Episcopal Church in the Anglican tradition that embraces Catholic and Protestant elements. We are an open and affirming congregation that welcomes people of all races, ethnic groups, sexual orientations, and religious backgrounds.

Our mission is to be a community — searching to know and accept God's purpose for us. Uplifted by worship together, sustained by a sense of Christ being in our midst, and inspired by the Holy Spirit to become more than we are, here, and in the world.

We invite you to spend some time getting to know us and helping us get to know you. We hope that in the process you will discover a caring community of worship, sacrament, fellowship, witness, and action. We hope you will find a church home.
